Fremont United Methodist Church charters and sponsors Troop 100 & Pack 100. Membership is open to all.
Troop 100 is for boys ages 11 to 18. Scouts are active in the community and work toward personal goals. Troop 100 has an overnight outing each month, service projects throughout the year and many Eagle Scouts. The troop has operated continuously in northeast Portland since 1921, making it one of the oldest troops in the United Stat (nearly 91 years and counting!).
Pack 100 is for boys from 1st through 5th grades. The pack meets monthly at Alameda School – most dens meet weekly. Highlights include games, skits, songs, family camping & Pinewood Derby model car racing.
As Baden-Powell intended, scouting with Troop 100 is “a fun game, but with a purpose.” The program is planned by the Scouts, for the Scouts (with adult assistance and support, of course).
Check us out! Please visit and learn about Troop 100.
