Welcome to BSA Troop 100 in NE Portland

Welcome to troop 100 of NE Portland!

Troop 100 has operated continuously for over 100 years serving the community, making it one of the oldest troops in the United States. Our first charter was on February 23, 1921. Troop 100 has a vigorous outdoor and advancement program, including an overnight outing most months of the year. The activities at Troop 100 are planned by the Scouts, for the Scouts (with adult assistance and support, of course). The troop also has numerous Scouts that have achieved the rank of Eagle each year. New information is added almost weekly so check back on a regular basis to see what's new. We are going to beautiful Camp Meriwether on the Oregon coast July 6-12th, 2025!

July 7th troop meeting: Planning for camp, forms due

During the Tuesday, July 7th troop meeting, we'll discuss plans for summer camp. Chaperoning parents should plan to attend this meeting as well.

Both scouts AND parent chaperones need to turn in medical forms for camp on July 7th. Zoom Care will complete your med form if you're unable to get an appointment with your regular provider.

Troop 100 is going to Camp Baker this year. Can parents please let me know what Merit Badges their boys would like to do. I suggest Trail to First Class and Swimming gor all the new scouts. Registration is on Fridayso please let me know by the end of the week. See Merit Badge Selection below

Aviation Day

Please meet on the south side of the parking lot (8070 NE AirTran's Way, PDX) by 8:30 am tomorrow morning if you are going to Aviation Day. The parking lot does fill up so it is good to get there a bit early. Please were a scout uniform or Class B T-shirt if you have one. Below is additional information

Can parents please let me know if their scouts will be attending Aviation Day this Saturday. I need to provide a list of attendees by tomorrow night. In addition, I am looking for a a couple of additional parent volunteers. It is a great experience for the scouts. Please text me at 503-936-0740 the names of anybody who plans on attending.

We're moving back to a more regular meeting schedule! Starting in May, troop meetings will take place most Tuesdays. Meetings will NOT take place the first Tuesday of the month.
