Welcome to Troop 100's web site. Troop 100is chartered and sponsored by Fremont United Methodist Church. The troop serves youth from the Alameda, Hollywood, Irvington and Beaumont neighborhoods of northeast Portland. A group of visionary adults applied for Troop 100's first charter on February 23, 1921. Troop 100has operated continuously for more than eighty-five years, making it one of the oldest troops in the United States.Troop 100has a vigorous outdoor and advancement program, including an overnight outing each month, year‑round. The activities at Troop 100 are planned by the Scouts, for the Scouts (with adult assistance and support, of course).The troop also has numerous Scouts that have achieved the rank of Eagle in recent years.New information is added almost weekly so check back on a regular basis to see what's new. Phlox Lodge

Departure 8:00 AM Saturday.

We will ski into the lodge with our gear about noon on Saturday,  in the mean time we will being skiing until then.  You can ski as much or as little as you want.   Normally most people attending will purchase all day tickets which allows you to ski until closing at 9:00 PM.  All skiers must use the buddy system at all times.

Biking for merit badge

This Sunday (2/12) those interested meet at the east end of the steel bridge (where the walkway joins the east esplanade). Meet at 10am. We'll bike to Sellwood, stop for pastries and then bike back. It's a nice 10 mile ride.

Brian apparently didn't bring home his black ski gloves and a navy blue/black ski hat from Nanich last weekend.

Will everyone who was there please check your sons' stuff to see if he accidentally brought it back.

Be prepared: Tuesday, February 7, 2012, Pack 47, Den 3 Webelos: Eleven +/- scouts and assorted parents will be visiting! According to the Cubmaster, this is their first visit to any scout troop! They've probably got one or two other troops to visit, but let's show 'em NOW why they should crossover to mighty Troop 100!
