Merriwether update

Posted on Apr 7 2024 - 7:04pm

Super Weekend recap:
The Scouts had a fabulous weekend.  Most popular events were the shooting sports: Shot gun (clays), rifle .22 target, and archery. Many boys also ascended the climbing tower. A few boys braved the beach and cold water in a mini polar plunge.  Scouting skills were achieved as the boys independently planned meals, troop gear, and camp duties. The weekend was a bit soggy, but that did not stop any of the fun and the boys were all well prepared.

THIS WEEK - PLC meeting on Tuesday

Upcoming events:
1.  We are scheduling weekend hikes on April 21 and May 4 to meet hiking merit badge requirements
2.  Aviation Day at PDX is on 5/11- please sign up soon so that we can reserve spots
3.  Summer Camp registration for Camp Parsons on the Olympic Peninsula in July is quickly approaching!  Signups and payments are due this month.
